Born in 1961, Haverhill, Massachusetts. At 16, Scott was introduced to fine arts by Barbara Baldwin, a former commercial artist and portrait painter from New York City.

Since 1976, Scott has designed commercial art, and award winning fine art. A graduate of Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Scott holds a Masters Degree of Business Management and Industry. He worked a number of years for Lucent Technologies in their Learning and Performance Center, first as a Training Specialist and Course Developer, and latter as a Curriculum Manger for software education.

When computer aided graphics, and the Internet gained popularity, Scott returned to school to become a master digital multimedia and web designer. The same design school that refined his skills also offered him a teachers position after graduation. He eagerly accepted and continues to teach real-world digital communications part time.

What sets Scott apart is his unique ability to strike a perfect balance between traditional art and computer design.
